Modeling of Hydrodynamic and Lithodynamic Coastal Processes in the Harbour Area

One of the problems in design ports is assessment coastal sediment movements near structures. The article presents materials for assessing impact port facilities on processes erosion/accumulations area Gelendzhik Bay (Black Sea). All main interaction waves, currents and movement occur zone, therefore, study possibilities complex application hydrodynamic lithodynamic models. In this work, wind wave models Wave Watch III SWAN were used. As initial data, data NCEP/NCAR reanalysis fields period from 1989 to 2012 To simulate currents, transport processes, a model two-dimensional COASTOX–CUR generated by waves wind, COASTOX-SED together with COASTOX–MORPHO bottom reshaping was simulation scenario, sequence 5 strongest storms under consideration considered. Analysis washout zones/accumulations have shown that areas intensive are associated most intense currents. It construction will not significant Gelendjik bay.
